Asking Epic Experiences to make arrangements for your flight, hotel, car rental, tour, cruise, or other trip will signify your agreement with the following terms and conditions:
Traveler (YOU) acknowledges that Grodberg Media, LLC dba Epic Experiences is acting as an independent intermediary (Travel Agent) between YOU and Suppliers of goods and services which are not directly supplied by Epic Experiences, such as air transportation, hotel, accommodation, ground and sea transportation, tours, tour guides, escorts, etc., and shall not be responsible for actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which may result in loss, damage, delay or injury to you or your travel companions or group members. Epic Experiences and any organization contracting its services shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction difficulties, disease, local laws, climatic conditions, war, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside our control.
Epic Experiences acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary (Suppliers). Epic Experiences is not responsible for acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules.
Epic Experiences assumes no responsibility for and shall not be liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused by: (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts, or omissions of the Suppliers; (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated, or otherwise used or provided by the Suppliers; (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under Epic Experiences’ control.; and (4) any Supplier price drop after your travel arrangements have been confirmed, paid in full, or ticketed. You hereby release Epic Experiences from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph.
Travel arrangements involving airline and cruise components are subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed by the Supplier and/or government after you have completed your purchase. You hereby consent to any such price increases and authorize your credit or debit card to be used for them. Suppliers have their own contracts covering cancellation penalties and other terms and conditions, and you may be bound by those contracts regardless of whether you receive notice of their terms. By booking your travel with Epic Experiences, you are consenting to those terms and conditions.
Epic Experiences has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. For information concerning possible dangers at destinations, Epic Experiences recommends contacting the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at www.travel.state.gov. For medical information, Epic Experiences recommends contacting the Centers for Disease Control at www.cdc.gov/travel. You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). You hereby release Epic Experiences from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph. You agree that the courts in New York County will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or Epic Experiences, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Please check all names, dates, and prices for accuracy. Names are difficult if not impossible to change and may incur a Supplier change fee; date changes can affect availability and price. Suppliers charge penalties to change names, dates and other items that affect the overall price of the trip.
Documentation is required for all types of travel. Names must be spelled exactly as they are listed on either your driver’s license or passport. Passports or a state issued birth certificate will be required depending on your destination. Minors may require additional documentation if traveling alone or if either parent is not the birth parent. Documentation required for travel is the sole responsibility of the traveler. Epic Experiences will do their best to inform travelers of the requirements, but will not be responsible for errors or omissions.
Many countries require your passport is effective at least 6 months after departing the country. Please check your passport expiration to be sure it meets the conditions of the country/ies you are visiting.
Only a passport (booklet) is acceptable for international air travel, not a passport card.
Many countries will not allow entry or require special permission if you have had a conviction of any sort of crime, misdemeanor or DUI. It is your responsibility to find out if the country you are traveling to has any such restrictions in the event you have had legal issues.
Epic Experiences recommends that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel protection plans can include coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more.
- Should I cancel my trip after it has been booked and confirmed, I acknowledge Epic Experiences will charge a $250 cancellation fee to the credit card on file. This is in addition to any cancellation fees the travel supplier my trip has been booked with or airline may charge.
- If the supplier’s confirmation states the hotel, flight, rail, car rental, excursion, and/or tour is non-cancellable, I will abide by that policy and will accept I have chosen to purchase a non-cancellable trip component.
- Should I change any portion of my trip after it has been booked, a $50 per change fee, per person will be charged to the credit card on file. This is in addition to any change fee the airline or travel supplier the trip has been booked with might charge.
